Summer Shorts

As many of you know summer is literally right around the corner and I know I was excited for spring but I am absolutely ecstatic for summer to be here.  I live in the south which means hot weather and sun! And today's weather makes me even more excited for summer because for some odd reason it's like 50 something degrees out, breezy, and cloudy and I hate it!  It was sunny and felt great yesterday but it doesn't really surprise me, our weather is always bipolar---literally it'll be raining one minute and sunny and blazing the next.  It makes it really hard to dress for that day's weather.  I'm really gonna need the weather to cooperate. 

Enough of my rambling; I was browsing online and came across some cool shorts and of course felt that I should share.  If you're anything like me, you can never have too many shorts!

Black Hi Rise Festival Shortie / Ombre Denim Midi Short / Printed Denim Midi Short

American Eagle always has some of the best and cutest shorts at the most affordable prices.  Their shorts are very 'festive' looking which is why I love them so much.  These shorts just scream summer.

Bleached Out Cutoff Shorts / Skull Crusher Shorts / Candy Coated Short

Almost every girl I know loves Nasty Gal!  Their shorts are extremely different from most.  The first two pairs of shorts gave off an edgy vibe which is why I liked them the most (the skull crusher shorts are my fave).  The third pair has more of a girly vibe; they remind me of cotton candy.  These shorts will definitely turn heads.

Planet Blue's clothing are more bohemian meets hippie.  If you've never heard of them check them out here.  At first glance these shorts look like they just have fabric stitched onto them--NOWHERE CLOSE!--I fell in love with these because of the bleached effect but also because the pocket is actually paint or something of that substance.  I mean really who wouldn't want to wear these?  They're a little more pricey than most shorts but I bet they're totally worth it!

GET THE LOOK- Nina Dobrev x Julianne Hough

About a week ago, Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough went to a Lakers game and had some very cute and stylish outfits on.  They weren't too dressed up and weren't completely dressed down--they looked comfortable and chic.

On Nina, I love how she paired a blue bag with an orange top.  Because of the ruffles on her shirt, you're really drawn to it.  On Julianne, I love the military jacket with leather sleeves.  I've been seeing this jacket all over the place, it's definitely "IN".  I also love her top, but I adore the jacket!

I Wanna Scream & Shout..

Happy Friday!!  I was so happy to be able to sleep in this morning considering that doesn't really happen often.  I felt so refreshed when I woke up this morning.  I've been working on a couple of projects that I'm really excited about and can't wait to share!  Online shopping has pretty much become an everyday thing for me and I'm not sure if it's an addiction or not--still wondering about that but for now I will continue.

Jawbreaking

I love browsing on the computer and stumbling across clothing lines that I've never heard of, only to find out that their clothes are better than half of the clothing lines I have heard of and they're extremely cute!  I first found out about Jawbreaking in 2011 but I didn't favorite the page so I forgot the name and haven't been able to find it since until now (which is very frustrating because I've been wanting to purchase stuff from here but could never remember the name).  I'm so happy I stumbled across it again and I can't wait to get me a couple of cute shirts from here.  I like sharing these things with you guys because a lot of you seem to have the same taste in just about everything as I do.  You guys have to check it out!!  I'm sure you'll love everything and want to purchase everything.  What's even more amazing about this rad line is the owner, Aly Silverio started it at the age of 15!!  If that isn't inspiration for those who want to follow their dreams and start a business, then I don't know what is.

Spring Ready

Color Trend: Mint Green

Mint Green Is The New Black

Black has always been the “IT” color simply because it looks good on everyone and it’s just the go-to color.  Well move over black because there is a new “IT” color in town and that color is mint green.  This is really exciting, because green is my favorite color and mint green makes my heart melt.  Mint green= green to the next level.  It’s definitely a color that stands out.  When I first looked at the pics above, I instantly gravitated to the mint green and how amazing it looks.  Can it get any better than this?  I love that it can be worn in every season.  It just fits in perfectly!

Long Live Alexander McQueen

I have this extremely weird obsession with skulls---only if they're on my clothes, shoes, and accessories.  They give off an edgy vibe and I love that!!  So it only makes sense that I would be obsessed with the great Alexander McQueen.  I was just doing a little browsing and I ran across these CUTE clutches of his and I am so in love with them I just want them all.  I found some that didn't have skulls on them as well and they are all fabulous!!  There were many to choose from, but these are the ones that I favored the most!

Day 7: The Final Day of Fashion Week

Well fashionistas, today is Day 7 of the MBFW and it's the final day *sniff*  it was really nice to be able to watch it all on my computer on a livestream.  There were some amazing outfits from some amazing designers and there were some outfits that I would pass on.  I liked being able to see my favorite designers and I only hope that I can make it next year, because I know I won't be able to make it to the one in September with school and everything.  I hope you all enjoyed being able to watch it right at home on your computers as well.

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!

It's Day 3 of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.  I feel like these days are just flying past seriously.  I just looked at the date and can't believe it's already the 9th, Valentine's Day is next week, and there's only 2 weeks and 5 days left before February is over--where has time gone??

I hope you all are enjoying Fashion Week so far, there have been a lot of amazing shows with some great clothing.  I pretty much like everything that I've seen and I'm not sure if that's normal. I'll be providing the link for the show again today for anyone has forgotten it or if you're just tuning in.  

I wonder if the shows will continue even though there's a blizzard up there?  Mayor Bloomberg said he didn't want to see any cars on the street, so will there be any shows today?  These are questions that need answers!!!  Here's today's line-up anyway.

Hello Moschino.

I never really noticed Moschino until just recently.  I've heard of it but never gave it my full undivided attention.  Well I ran across the Autumn/Winter 2013-14 collection and I am ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE!!! I just love how everything goes together.  I can't believe I never focused on it before but I see what I've been missing all along.  They will definitely be getting some purchases from me sometime in the near future.  Some of the outfits remind me of Wednesday from The Addams Family with just a little twist, whether it be the shoes or the handbags that gave it that certain "POP."  There were about 4 or 5 outfits on there that I want right now at this very moment lol.  I've posted a couple of pics from the collection below. I'm going to be completely honest, I have never heard of Cèline before until recently and I am so so so in love with these handbags.  I just love the look of the bag and I want to purchase one now but I can't seem to figure out where to get them.  I know Bergdorf Goodman sells them, but since I don't live in New York, there is absolutely no way I'm going to get it and the website doesn't offer them.  I think Neiman Marcus sells them so I'll have to head on down to Buckhead whenever I get the time.

So there's this new app for iPhone called Swirl that I downloaded a couple of weeks ago and I'm just gonna say that it is freakin addicting.  It's a fashion app and it allows you to follow all your favorite stores (which are listed in alphabetical order) and you can clip items and put them into categories.

Ex: Weekend Style, Night out, Just for me, etc.

There are all kinds of deals that go on like 40% off at _insert store name_ and it's just really cool to have an app like that on the go.  I have yet to purchase anything yet but I'm definitely working on that.  I've just been clipping a lot of items that I would like but I definitely recommend this app to anyone who love shopping!!
